Local buyer · paying cash
I buy Magic cards.
Turn the boxes in your closet into cash, in person, today. No listing, no photographing, no shipping, no waiting for a card to sell.
Why 60% is better than it sounds
Cash today is worth about 75 to 85% of selling it yourself.
A percentage only means something after you subtract what selling actually costs: commission, payment processing, shipping, and the wait until somebody buys it.
| On a $20 card | Sell it yourself | Sell it to me |
|---|---|---|
| Sale price | $20.00 | $12.00 cash |
| Fees and processing | about −$2.60 | none |
| Shipping and supplies | about −$1.00 | none |
| You receive | about $16.40 | $12.00 |
| When | whenever it sells | immediately |
The rates
What I pay
and up, for cards over $5
Based on TCGplayer Market (Near Mint)
Bulk rares, each
Rares under $5
Bulk commons and uncommons, each
Sorted or unsorted
Bulk means anything under $5, including most rares. Above that, cards are priced individually. Starting is the operative word: the percentage goes up for liquid staples and large collections, because both are less work and less risk on my end.
Rates current as of August 2026. Prices move, so a quote is confirmed when we look at it together.
The process
How it works
- We check prices together. Same screen, same numbers.
- Bulk is counted at the posted rates. No sorting needed.
- Cards over $5 are priced one at a time. Not eyeballed as a pile.
- You get paid immediately. Cash, on the spot.
If you think a card is worth more than the number on my screen, say so and we will look. I would rather buy from people who come back than win one transaction.
